What is difference between standard and premium rate

I am on the international rates page. There are two different rates for each destination. One is standard rate and the second one is premium rate. What is the difference between these two rates.

By default your account will be set on standard rates. If you want more crystal clear voice, you will be able to switch to premium rates. However, 99% of our clients are very satisfied with our standard rates voice quality.
