Can't port my number.

The website claims that Axvoice is offering its service throughout USA and Canada. I am from Canada but the system says that my number is not portable to Axvoice. Now I want to buy a new number with 780 area code. Is this area code available.

Well this is why every provider makes the number portability issue clear before sign up because there are some companies that don't allow porting out their numbers.

I would say you have made the right decision. You should go for the new number. Just sign up and select a number that you like.

Well there are a few providers in canada that are not in contract with Axvoice. This is why, their numbers can not be ported to Axvoice. Right now, you can select a new number. I have checked the available numbers list and 780 area code is avaialbe. You will be able to select your favorite number during sign up.
