Microsoft Might Develop iPad-Version Of Office

Microsoft may launch an iPad version of their popular Office productivity suite. This was conveyed by Mike Tedesco, Senior Product manager at Microsoft to folks from T3 website during their private presentation of the new Office for Mac 2011.

I would actually consider getting an iPad if this happened. I am simply not content with iWork which is literally YEARS behind even free office suites.And it would definately elevate the iPad's status from "toy" to "serious business iPod.
